Protaras is a small town located on the south – easternmost of Cyprus in Ayia Napa neighborhood. Protaras until recently was a small fishing village and now it is functioning as as a resort which acquires more and more fame. It is also an attractive tourist destination not only because of the beautiful, clean, sandy beach, but also has a few landmarks like churches. One of them is the chapel of Agios Nikolaos located in the coast between Paralimni and Protaras.
